“My Dearest NIGERIANS, PLEASE HELP ME SAVE MY WIFE” My wife is suffering from severe lower back pains which manifested after the birth of our child in 2008. The pains have affected her nerves, ambulation and she could barely walk. We have done several surgeries as part of treatments: her body is a navigation of surgeries’ knives and stitches. The surgeries have severely affected our finances that survival and further treatments are a serious struggle in my household. The pain began after she gave birth to our last son in 2008. It has been a huge struggle and mixed experiences in an effort to get treatment for her. We have visited almost all the known and best hospitals in and around Lagos. We have done multiple dimensional medical examinations such as X-rays and MRI: all the tests, examinations, and treatments have impacted greatly in my line resources. This continues to be a big drain in my meager resources. The cost of medical expenses has become so expensive, that for years now, my family is virtually living from hand to mouth due to this ailment. My wife was diagnosed with infective Spndylo-discitis” Doctors at Igbobi Orthopedic Hospital concluded that the vertebral has collapsed”. They have recommended a corrective surgery. Part of the surgery can be done in South Africa. Doctors concluded that my wife needs to undergo surgery, to correct the bone in her pelvic areas, which “is pressing down her spinal cord, thus making it very difficult for her nerves to freely circulate. As this is responsible for the harsh pains she was experiencing on her lower limbs on daily biases”. The cost of the surgery and aftercare is N45MILLION. Her situation continues to grow from bad to worse. My wife complains of severe pains in her ribs and lower limbs. She cries throughout the day and night. Her situation has further compounded my health problems as I watch helplessly not knowing what to do to help her. As I run around trying to find a helping hand and a lasting solution to her deteriorating health problems I do not have N45MILLION and I don’t even know where to raise such money from.
