EBC is a free educational skill acquisition program for youths in marginalized communities with the project kick starting from 3 identified marginalized communities within Lagos state. This is intended to be a proactive measure aimed at curbing Illiteracy, unemployment and poverty in the metropolis. It comprises of modified educational activities in and outside the classroom (80% practical and 20% theoretical trainings) on Communication skill (reading and writing), Numeracy skill, Life skills – Self awareness, Critical thinking, Creative thinking, Decision making, Problem solving, Interpersonal relationship, Leadership and Vocational training for Out of School Learning Youths (OSLY) between the age 18 – 35years. Outcomes from interventions will be used as assessment for expansion across the 6 geopolitical zones in Nigeria. Expected outcome Societal inclusion of Out of School Learning Youths for growth as result of improved learning opportunities.
