C. A s a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. She graduated from the School of Nursing (Cross River State) Nigeria as one of the best student for her set throughout her stay in the school. Her passion for the profession made her the darling of all her lecturers and acquaintances while in the school and this is also why I have taken it upon myself to start this campaign for her.
After graduation, she went to bury her father in the village. During the burial rite, she was mandated to pay some amount of money as part of the burial rite but considering she was still a fresh graduate who had no job and was hoping to raise money to further her studies, she could not raise the levy and she didn't pay too much attention to it until the deadline given to her was passed.
However, a few days after the passage of the deadline, she noticed some strange sores on her hands and that was the begining of the end of her career. The rest of the story is what you could see from the attached pictures. She started giving medical attention to the seeming small sores, however, the more she treated the sores, the bigger they became until they almost consumed both of her hands.
It was at this point she concluded that this must be diabolical and later found out it was because of the levy she did not pay. She therefore ran around and raise the levy and paid. The sores stopped widening and started healing with little or no care but it was a little too late at this time as one her hands was completely deforemed and awkwardly bent at this time. She was able to salvage the other hand with just a few scars but the left hand was completly deformed from top to bottom.
Since then, she is not able to practice the profession she loves so much because she can't wear cloths with long arms to cover the deformity, besides, she can not even completely stretch her left hand and so, her passion and career has been suspended for years.
She is gradually slipping into depression as she can not do anyting for herself and seriously needs a corrective plastic surgery to repair her deformed hands. Hence this campaign to raise at least N10,000,000.00 (Ten Million Naira) for the surgery so as to save her career and likely her life.
We hope you find it in your heart to pitch in and save C. A.
