This is a research work carried out on the practice of Ofomunuba traditional celebration among the Yoruba ethnic group in the south-West of the Country Nigeria that is been used to honour the aged icon of the member of the community who have contributed immensely to the development of the tradition and the community at large.

It is all about the promotion of their ancestral progenitor. The studies dive into the role and the significance of the women  and the Youth in the promotion of the cultural values of our generation for the purpose of preservation for the new and yet unborn generation.It also explicate the role of traditional rulers as the keeper of the custodian of our culture for the purpose of bringing in peace and tranquility in the society.
