With the pervasive hunger spread across Nigeria, I have become so disheartened that more and more people keeping sliding into the poverty index. So, I decided to take action. I am a volunteer with Lagos Food Bank, a non-profit, non- governmental organisation determined to fight hunger, reduce waste, and offer food banking services through its food banking network in Lagos State. Presently, Lagos Food Bank and its venerable volunteers have made outreach to 300 communities, with 500000 registered beneficiaries and counting. But we believe more can still be done. The major beneficiaries of this funds are widows, destitute, extremely indigent families, children from ages 0-16, and seniors from ages 50 years and above. We appeal to whomever may be reading this to donate to our honest cause. This vulnerable people need your help. Immediately we start receiving funds, we start to provide supplies to this beneficiaries. Once again, WE CAN ALL MAKE A CHANGE IN OUR LITTLE WAYS.
