EVERY CHLD DESERVES A CHANCE AT QUALITY EDUCATION... INVEST IN A CHILD TODAY

Every child deserves a chance to survive, a chance to learn, a chance to dream.

Education offers children a ladder out of poverty and a path to a promising future. But about 264 million children and adolescents around the world do not have the opportunity to enter or complete school. They are thwarted by poverty, discrimination, armed conflict, emergencies and the effects of climate change.

EHI believes that every child has the right to an education regardless of who they are, where they live or how much money their family has.

They deserve an education that sees them treated with dignity and worth, one that will help them to fulfil their God-given potential, no matter their circumstances.

Esther hope initiative wants to see this happen, and we know that change is possible.

The key objectives of Esther Hope Initiative is;

  1. Community Development training and sensitization, which focuses on mobilizing parents and empowering them to bring about change. Our program places an emphasis on a parent’s role and responsibility in their child’s education and also education for all gender of children ( reduce girl child education discrimination). Before talking with our trainers and community connectors, many parents don’t realize that they should be investing in their child’s education. Many of them didn’t complete their schooling themselves, and thus don’t understand the importance of their child receiving an education. Oftentimes, parents will pull their kids out of school after a year or two so they can look after younger siblings or help in the fields. This is a major part of the issue in our society.

When parents understand their role in their child’s education, true transformation takes place.

  1. Provision of basic universal education to the less privileged children
  2. To assist financially incapitated parents to provide quality education to their drop out and out of school children through;
  • Provision of school aids/ supplies to children Assisted school bills payment
  • Full primary/ secondary education scholarship
  • School/ education mentoring
  • Organize academic competitions for public primary schools and secondary where participants are awarded prices to motivate children and parents.
