I am Ayodele Emmanuel Olugbenga, a Sustainable Development Practitioner and an Administrator. I had my first degree in Environmental Management and Toxicology from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria. Also a Masters degree in Sustainable Development Practice, an Earth Institute program of the University of Columbia. Endorsed by the United Nations, the institute has African campuses at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, Université Cheikh Anta Diop, Senegal, University of Botswana, Botswana and recently University of Pretoria, South Africa.

I have written and co-authored a few published articles. I have also attended a handful of policy formulation and review meetings. I also consulted for a few organizations home and abroad with the most recent being Centre for Energy and Sustainable Development, Kumasi, Ghana as a Development Evaluation Analyst, Centre for Sustainable Development, Ibadan Nigeria as a Research Analyst and Clean Edge Solutions, Ibadan, Nigeria as an Environmental Analyst. I was also part of a 3-man team nominated for the 2018 Youth Geneva Challenge in Switzerland.

Being a young man and an upcoming professional, I have had interesting stints in the Civil Service (though very brief), Environmental Consultant Services, Telecommunications (B2B & Clientele Management Solutions) and Social Services (NGOs). I am a member of Sustainable Development Solutions Network – SDSN and Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management – CIPDM. I have had leadership experiences almost all my life at every gathering I meet myself. This is owned to some inherent qualities I grew up with and also acquired as I progress.

Nigerian political terrain is that fraught with mismanagement, theft, corruption and all other evil vices. Having taken time to observe the challenges of our time, and the continuous struggle for Nigeria's socio-economy, by which we have become overwhelmed in recent times, and the despondency in the land, occasioned by increased suffering among the majority of Nigerians, a group of Nigerians with common interest in finding solutions to the issues, chose to come together and form the Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party (ANRP).

The party - as the name implies - is focused on bringing back the abundance for which Nigeria is known - in terms of human and material resources, and ensuring that that abundance is shared by all (shared prosperity). The second concern of the party is the need for a renaissance and renewal for the country; a feat that will be achieved when dynamism is entrenched in the socio-political process and new ideas are brought on board, especially from Nigeria's largest demographic - the youths.

The party, therefore, commits to increasing the participation of young people in the governance of their fatherland, without prejudice to, and without alienating other demographics, especially older people. The party notices the urgency of the moment, and the gutting of the nation's finances by ills such as corruption, nepotism, and general mismanagement of the country's social, political and economic spheres, and the need to actively and swiftly take action

We are however aware that we are disadvantaged in that we do not have the required funds to compete with the political warlords in the country and we do not practice the GOD-FATHER SYSTEM, that is why we are the first party in the country to deploy the CROWDFUNDING SYSTEM as it is practiced in developed worlds. This, on the other hand, is not without its challenges but we do hope that people of like minds from far and near can help us restore sanity to our dear country as we focus more on grassroots development.

I will need everyone to kindly donate towards this cause as I am contesting on the platform of ANRP to bring the much-desired change to my constituency and Nigeria at large. I have been involved in some community development projects like Free Health Screening, and Economic Empowerment for youths especially. A kind donation will help achieve a lot.

The target is ₦10,000,000. This can only be achieved when you and I trust each other to deliver on our set goals. Donations will be individually appreciated no matter how minute. Remember, drops of water make an ocean.

Thank you.
