I’m Uzoma Kingsley Ebuka, a youth leader and digital communicator from Owerri, Imo State. I’m applying for Climate Action Week 2026 (CAW) in the Maldives, organized by IIMPS, which brings together young changemakers for sustainability and climate solutions. Growing up, I saw how poor waste management harms lives, inspiring me to volunteer in programs like Gedablosh Healthcare’s outreach for 500+ people. Being part of Climate Action Week 2026 will provide me with hands-on skills, international mentorship, and a platform to share ideas with other young innovators working to tackle environmental challenges globally. More importantly, it will empower me to scale up my impact. After the program, I plan to launch a Digital Climate Awareness Campaign promoting recycling and green innovation in Nigeria.
