Me and my team are Afrocentric in nature, we believed that the only agent that can change a society for better or worst is culture. My name is Comrade Ubong Alfred, I am the chairman AKWA IBOM FORMER STUDENTS PRESIDENT ASSOCIATION (AKIPAN). Our culture is so demean, neglected or even Satanized that the black race totally loose confidence in themselves. We are the only race on earth without identity, we speak foreign languages with pride and are ashamed of our own languages. Parent now called their children names they do not know the meaning. WE WANT TO; 1) Initiate Afrocentric clubs in secondary schools where our true history, culture and self confidence is instill on the members. 2) Supply some awakening, cultural and educational materials to schools in the state.
