Nasarawa State, particularly in Karu LGA, faces significant challenges in agricultural productivity due to limited access to mechanized farming equipment. Smallholder farmers predominantly rely on manual labor and outdated farming techniques, resulting in low yields and economic vulnerability. The absence of affordable and accessible mechanization services exacerbates these challenges, hindering the region's agricultural growth potential. The establishment of a Hand Tractor Rental Business addresses this critical gap by providing farmers with cost-effective access to mechanized equipment. By utilizing mini-tractors with 18hp engines, we aim to empower farmers to enhance their efficiency, increase crop yields, and improve their livelihoods.
