Being the first-generation student in my family has been an achievement beyond expectation. My father tried to study and sent himself to a federal technical school where he was taught civil engineering, although he dropped out due to funds and a willingness to support his only brother. My mum dropped out of secondary school due to financial hardship and thoughts of support to help her widowed mother provide for her other 6 children. Our hope was in my father's farming business, which later crashed. Raising funds seems to be my last hope, and a huge step towards helping me study without financial problems and a reminder to also give out to the community. This funding is as important as the air I breath. I am a person of integrity, and I will use even honorable character to be a good ambassador. I will be studying MA HISTORY, and my research will base on Cross-cultural history, memory and identity of Nigeria to the world.
