To clear any doubts and to be more certain of what I had noticed about Opensea disabling the Unlockable Content feature, I sent them an email to ask if the feature was still available and received the following email as a response: Hi, thanks for reaching out! I'm Sweet, and I’m here to help. I understand that you are asking about a feature. I'm happy to help. Yes, you can include unlockable content when creating an NFT on OpenSea. The new Create an NFT feature supports this option, allowing creators to add unlockable content to their NFTs. However, it's important to note that this feature is not yet available but will be introduced with the upcoming Redeemables feature. Update 26th November 2024, 12:54 pm WAT. Good day everyone, I hope you're doing great. I've come to share the lasted update with you. In my course of checking to make sure that everything works properly for this project of ours to be successful, it came to my notice that Opensea NFT marketplace has disabled the Unlockable Content feature. The Unlockable content feature is a vital part of the process in making sure that the buyer of Inner Child's Single piece NFT receives the information supplied therein to enable to delivery of Inner Child's 12inch Single Piece vinyl record to the buyer of the NFT during its auction. Now that Opensea has disabled that feature, it would be impossible through Opensea to reach out to the anonymous buyer of the NFT. So it begs the question, how does an NFT creator reach out to a buyer who purchases an NFT item anonymously on a blockchain and also how does future buyers reach out the 1st generation buyer to indicate interest in buying the NFT? I'll be introducing a solution to the question in my next update that makes it possible for present and future owners, buyers and sellers of Lightsoutclass music to meet, connect and transact in one shared space. The website Vinyl-pressing.com will no longer be used to press Inner Child's single piece 12" vinyl album due to numerous negative reviews across the internet from past customers. It has been replaced with the service provider discwizards.com Please make efforts to check if you're satisfied with its current turnaround time and quality of service for One-off cuts before making commitments. 2. The item piece in the collection 'To NFT and Beyond' was created and is limited by Opensea's Lazy Minting feature which has been discontinued. It is advisable and more secure to create NFTs using smart contracts to align with future technological advancements in blockchain and DeFi. As a lover of music, your support and approval for the deployment of a smart contract, prerequisite for the minting of Inner Child's NFT and subsequent purchase during the auction gives Lightsoutclass as a matter of policy the prerequisite signal and approval needed to initiate the pressing of Inner Child's single piece 12" vinyl album.
