8 out of 10 Teenagers in Ajegunle drop out of the Secondary school yearly. 7 out of 10 Teenagers said they venture into crime because they don't have the right skills and the right mentorship. More than 80% of individuals from all the LGAs (except Ajegunle with 56%) said that they felt safe walking in their neighbourhood after dark. IF mentorship of teenagers and intensive Tech and digital training is enhanced and enabling environment and consistent follow-up Is improved THEN Teenagers in underserve community will gain credible skills related to the future of work, and enter the workforce, thereby contributing to the economic growth and reduction in social vices. At Indigo Africa, we are building and Nurturing the Next Generation of Digital and Technology Leaders, from the SLUM through STEM, Mentoring and Work-Placement. Donate today to reduce the crime rate in Ajegunle as we aim to catch our Teenagers young through Technology skills that can ultimately make them become the next tech leaders of tomorrow.
