For so many young girls, menstruation is an addition to the long list of gender disparities they face every day of their lives. In many parts of the country especially in rural areas girls are not prepared and aware about menstruation so they face many difficulties and challenges at home, schools, and work places. Many adolescent girls and mothers cannot buy sanitary pads owing to financial constraints. We might not be able to cover all needy women but will try to reach out to more of them. DAMF are planning to distributing sanitary pads and health education on menstrual hygiene.
